After selling out Sydney and the Gold Coast within hours of tickets becoming available, and incessant pleading from fans, Mariah Carey has added a Melbourne show to her little tour next month.
The show will be at Etihad Stadium on Saturday 5 January, a decent space for her to wield her five octave vocal range and the signature whistle register capabilities she is famous for.
I guess she's gone and done this because all you Melbournians (and those living closeby) were like, "All I Want For Christmas Is You" and she was all "you'll Always Be My Baby so I'll be a Dreamlover and put on a show in your city before I make like a Butterfly and say Bye Bye." Heh.
Tickets are available through pre sale today, 5 December, and to the general public tomorrow 6 December.
