Music on a Market Sunday - Baroque and Classical Guitar

Baroque and classical guitar in 26 May Market Sunday Concert.

The Music on a Market Sunday concert at 12”30pm on 26 May in the Armidale Uniting Church features guitarist Steve Thorneycroft playing some of his new baroque transcriptions for 7 string guitar and a few classical guitar favourites.

Steve Thorneycroft is one of Armidale’s most versatile musicians, being a leading performer across a range of styles. This concert showcases his classical/baroque face as both performer and transcriber. So there will be old music in a new garb and a chance to hear Steve’s wonderful 7 string guitar.

Admission to the concert is free, though donations are encouraged. Tea and sausages will be available at the Uniting Church before the concert.
