There’s tons of fun to be had at Adelaide Showground Farmers’ Market this July school holidays with a full diary of kids’ cooking, craft or entertainment at 9.30am every Sunday of the holidays
For a relaxed morning out for all the family, you can’t beat Adelaide Showground Farmers’ Market. There’s something for everyone, from Masterchef fans who want to meet Poh at her JamFace stall to lots of open grass space to run around on for little ones. From sweet treats like pancakes and waffles to local fruit fresh from the farm and beautiful flowers, freshly baked croissants and deliciously different new food to explore like purple cauliflower, amazing ‘fractal’ Romanesco broccoli and black squid ink pasta.
Here’s what’s on in the Market Kids’ Club this winter holiday:
4th July - 9.30am, Cookie decorating
Little chefs can get busy decorating seasonal biscuits with Joy from Nan's High Tea.
11th July - 9.30am, Sustainable craft
Monina from Green Gecko Studios helps little artists make creative crafts using op shop treasures and upcycled materials.
18th July - 9.30am, Juggling Show
Comedy juggler Michael Connell brings his fun juggling show to the Market, come and watch the fun or be brave and have a try.
Everyone is welcome but as a non-profit organisation we ask that those who can afford it give a gold coin donation to cover costs. Adelaide Showground Farmers’ Market has Kids’ Club activities every Sunday at 9.30am every week of the year including term time. There are also free cooking demonstrations every Sunday at 11am.
