For the first time in AFL history, the Toyota AFL Premiership season will begin with 'Opening Round' and two matches set to feature in Sydney to kick off the action in 2024.
Beginning on Thursday, March 7, ‘Opening Round' will get under way when Sydney hosts Melbourne at the SCG under lights. Teammates in 2023, former Demon Brodie Grundy will line-up against Melbourne Captain Max Gawn in the first game of the AFL season, a match-up which is sure to be a must watch.
2024 marks 150 years of the Swans in the VFL/AFL competition, with their new guernsey to be worn for the first time in the Opening Round celebrating this.
With premium food and wine, as well as family friendly activations on offer, make sure you head to the iconic SCG to cheer on the Swans.
